Support for Samuel Johnson - Fundraising for Breast Cancer Awareness
Samuel Johnson, star of The Secret Life of Us, embarked on a mission to set the world record for the longest distance travelled on a unicycle to raise breast cancer awareness following his sister Connie’s diagnosis with the deadly disease. He travelled almost 16000 kms and raised over $1.5m for the cause.
BIG4 Toowoomba Garden City Holiday Park was pleased to offer Samuel and his entourage accommodation at the park as well as a donation. Greg raised the winning bid on Samuel’s jersey at a charity auction.
Queensland PGA Championship
CITY Golf Club hosted its most successful Queensland PGA Championship to date in February 2014. BIG 4 Toowoomba Garden City Holiday Park was pleased to have been a part of this major sporting event through its sponsorship.
MS Brissie to the Bay Bike Ride
The Enerflex MS Brissie to the Bay bike ride has been part of the Brisbane cycling scene for over two decades. The ride is more than just a fun day out on the bike. It raises money to help change the lives of the thousands of Australians living with multiple sclerosis (MS).
BIG4 Toowoomba Garden City Holiday Park sponsored Nathan Tessmann in the 2013 MS Brissie to the Bay bike ride. Our sponsorship helped raised a record amount and these funds are being used to support people living with MS and find a cure for this terrible disease.
